Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 8, 2026

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the Pinly mobile application, official website, and services directly related to Pinly. Pinly lets you create, save, and share sticker books containing photos, notes, doodles, and other content, and lets invited members view or edit them together.

When you use third-party platforms, system features, or websites, their handling of information may also be governed by their own privacy rules.

2. Information We May Process

  • Account and profile information: used for registration, sign-in, identity recognition, and displaying necessary information such as your avatar and nickname.
  • Content you create or upload: including photos, notes, doodles, sticker-book content, comments, reactions, and related editing data.
  • Collaboration and relationship information: including sticker-book members, invitation relationships, collaborative editing records, and information needed to synchronize collaboration state.
  • Device and service-operation information: including device type, operating-system version, app version, network information, and basic diagnostic data used for compatibility, troubleshooting, and stability.
  • Subscription and transaction status: if you use paid features, we may receive subscription status, product identifiers, and transaction results from app stores or related services. Pinly does not ask you to provide complete bank-card details.

3. How We Use Information

  • Provide core features such as account sign-in, sticker-book creation, saving, synchronization, sharing, and real-time collaboration.
  • Show you and other sticker-book members content created together and maintain member permissions and collaboration state.
  • Generate previews, snapshots, or widget content required by the product.
  • Send service notifications directly related to your use of Pinly, such as invitations, collaboration updates, security notices, or important service changes.
  • Diagnose crashes, API failures, performance issues, and security risks, and improve product quality.
  • Comply with applicable legal requirements and protect the lawful rights and interests of users, Pinly, or others.

4. Photos and Other System Permissions

When you actively use features such as uploading photos, saving content, or receiving notifications, Pinly may request access to photos, media libraries, notifications, or other system permissions. We aim to request permissions only when the relevant feature needs them, and you can change permissions at any time in your device settings.

Refusing an optional permission generally does not affect features unrelated to that permission, but the corresponding feature may not work normally.

5. Shared and Collaborative Content

Pinly sticker books can be shared by multiple people. When you join a shared sticker book or add content to it, other authorized members may see your nickname, avatar, the content you add, and information related to collaboration.

Only invite people you trust to shared spaces, and do not upload personal information or content that you do not have the right to share.

6. Information Sharing and Service Providers

We do not use the sale of personal information as a business model. To operate Pinly, we may use infrastructure providers for cloud storage, databases, content delivery, crash diagnostics, subscription management, and similar services, and information is processed only to the extent needed to provide those services.

We may also process or transfer necessary information as required by law, to handle security incidents, to protect user rights, or in connection with business changes such as a merger or reorganization.

7. Retention, Security, and Deletion

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service and as required by applicable law, and use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, but we work to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss.

When the product provides account deletion, leaving a sticker book, or content deletion, you can use those features to manage your data. Some backups, logs, or information that must be retained by law may not disappear from every system copy immediately.

8. Minors

If you have not reached the legal age at which you may independently consent to use online services in your region, please use Pinly with the consent and guidance of a parent or guardian. We do not want users to unnecessarily disclose sensitive personal information about minors through Pinly.

9. Policy Updates

We may update this Policy as features, data-processing practices, or legal requirements change. For important changes, we may notify you through the website, in-app notices, or other reasonable means, and update the date shown on this page.
